Daina Smith is a contemporary visual artist based in Cumbria who works primarily with photography. She documents and expresses her personal relationship with the natural earth through the practice of therapeutic photography, taking an intuitive approach to furthering her understanding of the cathartic experience of immersion in nature. Alongside her work, Smith practices forest bathing, wild swimming, breathwork and cold exposure.
Smith graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a First-Class BA in Photography. She is currently undertaking her Master's degree in Photography.
